Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques—often called “tapping”—is a gentle, mind-body approach that helps you release stress, unhelpful patterns, and emotional overwhelm. By tapping with your fingertips on specific acupressure points while focusing on a troubling thought or feeling, EFT aims to calm the nervous system and create space for new, more supportive responses. Many people describe it as simple, soothing, and surprisingly empowering.

What a Session Is Like

People use EFT for a wide range of concerns, including day-to-day stress, worry, performance blocks, low confidence, relationship tension, and lingering emotional charge around past experiences. It can also support healthy habits and mindset shifts by addressing the emotional roadblocks that keep you stuck. EFT is not a replacement for medical or psychological care, but it can be a valuable complement alongside other supports.

Your first session begins with a relaxed conversation about what brings you here and what you’d like to change. I’ll guide you through a few rounds of tapping, checking in as we go so the pace always feels comfortable. You’ll repeat simple phrases that help us stay present with the issue—never to dwell on it, but to meet it with compassion. Most people notice a shift during the session—perhaps a softer emotion, a clearer perspective, or a calmer body. We’ll end with practical next steps and, if helpful, a short tapping routine to use between sessions.
